Ray O'Brien, Hampden-Sydney, So., Attackman

O'Brien, a sophomore from Scituate, Mass., helped Hampden-Sydney to a pair of victories to improve the Tigers' records to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in ODAC play. O'Brien posted an 11-point week over the two victories. He opened with seven points on five goals and two assists with a pair of ground balls and a caused turnover in a 17-9 road win at Mary Washington. The points and goals totals are both personal career-bests. O'Brien then helped the Tigers to their first conference victory with three goals and an assist in a 10-6 triumph over Bridgewater. He added three ground balls and a caused miscue. For the season, O'Brien has notched 33 points on 19 goals and 14 assists, the latter number tied for seventh in the ODAC.
