Smith opened with six points on five goals and one helper in a 16-10 win over St. Mary's College (Md.). His efforts helped fuel a 7-0 run the completed R-MC's comeback victory. Smith was more scoring playmaker in a 22-13 win over Whittier as he poured in four goals with five assists for nine total points. He chipped in four ground balls and a caused turnover.
