Sprague, a senior from Marshall, Va., was prolific in two wins for Virginia Wesleyan last week, improving the Marlins record to 3-1 with their first ODAC game on tap this week. Sprague registered 20 points for the week on 10 goals and 10 assists. He opened with seven points in a 20-4 win over Husson. He scored five times and dished out a pair of assists to go with a caused turnover. Sprague is now #2 in VWU history in single-game assists after dishing out eight helpers in a 22-17 triumph over Wabash College. The eight assists are second only to the 11 assists handed out by Scott Holava in 1991. Sprague scored five goals to finish the contest with 13 points. He added three ground balls to his line. For the season, Sprague leads the ODAC in assists (13) and is tied for first in points (28). He is tied for second in goals scored (15).
