Christina Washington, Lynchburg, Senior, Sprints/Mid-Distance

Washington, a senior from Silver Spring, Md., ran in three events at the Commonwealth Duals.  She finished fourth in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:29.92.  Washington was a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that won the event in a time 50.72.  However, her best mark came in the 400-meter race.  Washington won the event in a time of 58.18, which set a new ODAC seasonal top time and ranks 13th in the country.

Women's Outdoor Track & Field Honor Roll

Jodie Geddes, Guilford, Sophomore, Mid-Distance
Geddes ran a 1:16.82 in the 400 at the Raleigh Relays, the third-fastest tim in school history. She placed 120th out of 122 at the meet.

Samantha Clowser, Roanoke, Sophomore, Throws
Clowser competed with the Maroons at the Winston-Salem Invite.  Clowser won the hammer throw with a toss of 142-feet, and followed that with an eighth place showing in the discus with a throw of 98-feet.

Annelise Madison, Washington and Lee, Sophomore, Mid-Distance/Distance
Madison won a pair of events as the W&L women’s track & field team took part in the Commonwealth Duals on Saturday. Won the 1500m in a time of 4:51.41, then came back to win the 5000m in 19:01.01.
