Quinlin Zunk, Washington and Lee, So., Throws

Zunk, a sophomore from Moseley, Va., competed in three throwing events with a pair of victories at the Salisbury Eastern Shore Challenge over the weekend. Zunk won the javelin at 37.20 meters (122-0.00), taking over second place on the ODAC's 2023 list. That distance is third-best in Washington and Lee program history. Zunk also won the discus at 39.13 meters (128-4.00). That is the second-best throw in the conference this year behind her heave of 39.26 meters at the Doc Jopson Invitational. Zunk added a fourth-place finish in the hammer at 40.80 meters (133-10.00).
