Dalton, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., placed eighth overall and second among NCAA Division III competition at the Hagan Stone Classic, leading Roanoke to first place in the D-III team rankings.  RC finished second as a team among all levels of NCAA competition.  Dalton completed the five-kilometer course in 19:46.8, setting a new season-best time at that distance.
