Johnson a sophomore from Spotsylvania, Va., was the fastest ODAC and Division III runner at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational over the weekend. She set a new six-kilometer personal-best time by more than a minute with a 22:36.4 to finish eighth overall in Blacksburg. She helped Lynchburg to fourth in the team standings with 94 points.
