Frank Csorba, Lynchburg, Sr.

Csorba, a senior from Boydton, Va., picks up his second ODAC weekly honor of the season following a blistering pace into the ODAC and Lynchburg record books at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. Csorba finished fourth overall and first among Division III competitors in the brown race, posting an eight-kilometer time of 23:56.0 buoyed by a 4:48.3 per-mile pace. His overall time was the second-fastest (23:14.7 - Alex Phillip, John Carroll University) of all Division III athletes in the entire Paul Short Run meet, which featured four men's 8K races and 1,692 total men's runners. Csorba's time is not only the fastest 8K in the ODAC this season, but it is the first sub 24-minute 8K time in ODAC and Lynchburg history.
