Brown, a junior from Lower Burrell, Pa., was the top ODAC finisher at the Rooney Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Brown, who also featured with her sister Ashley on the RC women's cross country team, finished sixth overall and tops among Division III competitors in a field that featured 49 total runners, many from Division II institutions. Lauren completed the five-kilometer course at Greenhill Park in 21:45.8. That puts her inside the ODAC's top-20 5K times this year.
