HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Profs got on the board first with a two-out homer to go up 1-0, and then added another after three straight singles to extend the lead to 2-0.
- RMC couldn't get anything going offensively heading into the seventh. Rowan got some insurance in the top of the seventh inning with a three-run home run that gave Rowan a comfortable lead, forcing RMC to their final three outs.
- Rilee Baughan (Warsaw, Va./Rappahannock) led off the seventh with a walk and Kayla Davis got the first hit of the game for the Yellow Jackets directly after. Gracie Ellis scored Baughan with a single down the third base line. The Profs were able to end the threat, holding on to win 5-1.
