Keys, a sophomore from Hamlet, North Carolina, helped Guilford to its best start in school history (5-0-1) by hitting a club-high .412 with a homer and four RBIs.  Keys has a hit in five of the Quakers' first six games and she sports a .765 slugging percentage and a .450 on-base percentage.  She has handled all eight chances in the outfield cleanly and matched her career high with three hits, including a double, in a 5-4 win over Methodist, which helped Guilford to its first sweep of the Monarchs in school history.  Keys belted her second career homer and first of the season in a 6-2 win over Peace.  She also had an RBI triple in the nightcap with Peace.

Softball Honor Roll

Jenny Carroll, Lynchburg College, Freshman - First Base
Carroll hit a two-run home run in her second collegiate at bat Saturday at Meredith. She scored twice and also walked in the first game.  In the second game, she had a hit. 

Jaclyn Quinn, Virginia Wesleyan College, Sophomore - Catcher
Quinn led the Marlins in hitting in the season-opening sweep of Ferrum College, belting a double in the opener and two hits in the second game.  She finished the two games with a .600 batting average and had nine put outs.
