Stevenson, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., helped Randolph start the season with two wins, both one run victories over Meredith College. The WildCat left fielder had two hits in each game, also posting a pair of stolen bases in each contest. She also scored three runs and earned a walk as she reached base in five of her first seven plate appearances of the season. Stevenson now has hits in 31 of her last 34 games, including 17 multi-hit games during that span, dating back to last season.

Howard helped Guilford splilt a doubleheader with seventh-ranked
Emory in the Quakers’ season opener by going 5-for-8 with a
run scored and one RBI… had three hits, a run and an RBI in
Guilford’s 7-6, 8-inning win in the opener… had two
more hits in the nightcap.
Amber Ingram, Lynchburg, Freshman, Utility/Pitcher
Ingram had a 1.000 slugging percentage last week to
help LC to a 3-1 start on the season. She ripped a triple and a
home run Saturday in the second game against Averett with three RBI
and also had two hits and a double in the first game. Ingram
also threw a complete game in the circle on Saturday, scattering
seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts for the win.
