Lee, a senior from Buckingham, Va., was effecting in the leadoff spot for EMU this week, leading the Royals to a 5-1 record. She batted 10-for-21, including seven extra base hits for a .476 batting average and a 1.000 slugging percentage. Lee hit four doubles, two triples and a homerun during the week, and scored eight times. She triggered an eight-run first inning in a game at Mary Washington, scoring twice and knocking in three with a bases loaded triple during the frame. Sunday in a 5-2 win over York, Lee was 3-for-4 with two doubles and another triple. She drove in six runs on the week. Lee in fifth in the ODAC in doubles, triples, total bases, fifth in runs, and fourth in homeruns.

Kasey Anderson, Bridgewater, Sophomore, 2nd
Base
Anderson was helped BC to a 6-0 week by hitting at a .500
clip (11-of-22) and driving in a pair of runs from the No. 2 spot
in the lineup to pace the Eagles offensively. The Chatham, Va.
native was also outstanding on the basepaths in swiping nine bases
on the week. Anderson had four multi-hit games on the week
including a four-hit performance in Bridgewater’s 3-1 victory
in nine innings on Tuesday at Averett. Anderson’s 20 stolen
bases on the season ranks her third on the single-season
Bridgewater list with more than 20 games left to play and leads the
ODAC by four.
Tori Higginbotham, Virginia Wesleyan, Sophomore,
Outfielder
Higginbotham helped the Marlins to a 3-1 week by hitting .500
(8-for-16) with three doubles, three runs scored and a pair of runs
batted in. She also stole a base. She went 4-for-4 in
the second game against #18 Salisbury. Higginbotham currently
leads the ODAC in doubles with eight.
