Keys, a junior from Manassas, Va., started off the season with four hits in her first six at bats to help the Marlins to a season-opening sweep of Meredith.  In game one, she went 1-for-3 in an 8-2 win, but then followed that with a 3-for-3 showing with a double and five runs batted in towards an 11-1 triumph.  She also scored a run in the latter contest.

Jessi Hall, Lynchburg - (So, OF - Floyd, VA, 3)
Hall led off the season with a triple Friday at Greensboro and kept hitting during the non-conference twinbill. She finshed 5-for-8 with three runs, two RBI, a stolen base and two walks to post a .700 on-base percentage and a .875 slugging percentage.
