Jordan Aylor, Eastern Mennonite, So., Pitcher

Aylor, a sophomore from Madison, Va., picked up the wins in each of her three starts while also making a scoreless relief appearance.  Aylor opened with a five-inning complete game win in an 11-0 triumph over Southern Virginia.  She gave up two hits and fanned five without surrendering a walk.  She tossed 1.2 innings of hitless relief in the second game against the Knights.  Against Hunter, Aylor got the win in a six-inning 11-3 win.  She gave up four hits and three unearned runs while fanning six and walking one in the complete game effort.  Aylor followed that by helping to hand #18 Salisbury its first loss of the year in a 6-1 EMU victory.  She went seven complete, scattering seven hits and givign up one run while walking a pair.  For the week, Aylor notched a 0.36 ERA in 19.2 innings of work.  She is now 4-1 on the season.

Softball Pitching Honor Roll

Katie Grimm, Emory & Henry - (So, P/1B - Staunton, Va. / Wilson Memorial HS, 19)
Grimm picked up three of the Wasps' five wins last week over Spring Break including a one-hit shutout.  She pitched a pair of complete games and totaled 16 strikeouts over her five appearances (three starts) posting an ERA of 1.12.  For the week, she went 3-0, giving up four runs (three earned) on 15 hits in 18.2 innings of work.

Calli Pastor, Guilford - (Fr, OF - Newberg, Pa., 1)
Pastor struck out five of six batters faced, earning the win in game one against Mary Baldwin, 12-3.  She complemented her pitching with a single and a stolen base, and added a RBI in the second game, a 15-0 win.

Elizabeth Fioretti, Lynchburg - (So, P - Elkridge, MD, 33)
Fioretti went 3-1 in five appearances (one start) for the Hornets last week.  She gave up just three hits and four runs (one earned) in 14 innings of work.  She fanned 17 total batters, including 10 in her only start of the week in which she blanked Hunter, 10-0.  She earned the win with five innings of hitless relief in a 5-4 triumph in 10 innings over Ferrum.  Fioretti also picked up the "W" with 2.1 shutout innings of relief in a 6-4 decision over Salisbury.

Logan Carter, Randolph - (Jr, P - Richmond, VA, 16)
Carter had a solid week at the Snowbird Softball Tournament, earning three wins as she pitched 28 innings on the week. She recorded four complete games in five games started, and allowed zero earned runs in four of her seven appearances on the week. She struck out 19 on the week, and also allowed six or fewer hits in all but one of her starts.  She went 3-1 overall with a 2.75 earned run average.

Heather Lewis, Randolph-Macon - (Sr, P/DP - Glen Allen, VA / Deep Run, 12)
Lewis earned the win in all three of the Yellow Jackets' victories this weekend at the Seagull Classic in Salisbury, Md. The senior did not allow an earned run in 12.2 innings of work and walked just one batter while striking out seven. Lewis came on in relief against Wilkes and retired the side to set up a walk off victory.

Stephanie Clark, Roanoke - (Jr, - Nathalle, VA, 5)
Clark went 2-0 with a pair of complete game efforts over spring break for the Maroons.  She went five innings in a 10-0 win over Beloit, giving up just two hits and walking a pair while fanning seven.  She backed that with seven shutout innings in a 3-0 victory over Bluffton.  She gave up gave up five hits and struck out three.

Stephanie Cameron, Shenandoah - (Jr, P - Ocala, Fla., 14)
Cameron collected two wins in complete game efforts covering 14 innings of work.  She gave up one run while scattering nine hits and two walks in a 5-1 win over Geneseo State.  She had nine punch outs in that contest.  Cameron backed that with eight more strike outs in an 8-1 win over Gettysburg.  She surrendered one run on eight hits and one walk.
