Snead, a sophomore from Ellerbe, N.C., improved to 4-0 on the season in the Quakers 7-1 triumph over N.C. Wesleyan.  Snead tossed a complete-game three-hitter, allowing one run while walking one and fanning four Bishops in seven innings of work.  She also helped herself at the dish with a RBI double.  Snead is fifth in the ODAC with a 1.48 earned run average in 23.2 innings of work so far this season.

Softball Pitching Honor Roll

Brianna Cox, Bridgewater (So., P - Bumpass, Va.)
Cox hurled five shutout innings in the Eagles' 2-1 win over Johnson & Wales (R.I.).  She surrendered just one hit, walked two and struck out two batters.  She's now 1-1 on the season with a 3.00 ERA in 18.0 innings pitched.
