Hanna Hull, Virginia Wesleyan, Fr., Pitcher

Hull, a freshman from Chesterfield, Va., continues to shine in her first season for nationally third-ranked Virginia Wesleyan as she recorded three more victories, three double-figure strikeout games, and allowed just one run over 20 innings in the circle last week. She opened with a complete game three-hit shutout of Mary Washington in the Marlins 3-0 victory. She walked four and struck out 14 batters. Hull followed that with six strong frames in a 2-1 victory over Randolph. She gave up one run on one-hit with three walks and 14 more strikeouts. Hull capped her week with a two-hit shutout of Shenandoah in Virginia Wesleyan's 2-0 victory. She walked one and fanned 11 hitters. For the season, Hull is 12-1 and leads the ODAC in all major pitching categories including wins, innings pitched (77.0), earned run average (0.27), strikeouts (141), and shutouts (6). Her .115 opponents' batting average is second.

Brooke Lauden, Bridgewater (Fr.)
Louden went 1-1 last week, picking up a 9-0 win over Sweet Briar in which she gave up three hits and walked two with eight strikeouts in a five-inning shortened shutout. She also went seven frames and surrendered the game's lone run in a 1-0 loss to Frostburg State. She gave up just four hits and fanned three. She also worked five innings in a 5-4 loss to Shenandoah.

Courtney Lackey, Guilford (Jr.)
Lackey went 2-1 last week with a pair of complete game victories. She shutout Shenandoah 7-0, giving up four hits and striking out three. She came back the next day and gave up just one run on nine hits with a walk and six strikeouts to defeat Eastern Mennonite, 5-1. She also worked 5.1 innings in a 3-2 loss to Lynchburg.

Lindsey Chaney, Randolph (So.)
Chaney went 2-1 last week with a 0.70 ERA in 20.0 innings. She shutout Roanoke, 1-0, giving up just four hits and striking out three. She was a hard luck loser in a 2-1 setback to #3 Virginia Wesleyan, holding the Marlins to four hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings. She came back with a victory over #13 Randolph-Macon, giving up just one run on four hits with a walk and five strikeouts to defeat RMC, 5-1.

Candace Whittemore, Randolph-Macon (So.)
Whittemore went 3-0 in four appearances last week. She wont 8-0 over Eastern Mennonite, giving up just two hits and fanning three in a shortened five-inning shutout. She came back in game two to hurl 3.2 scoring innings to earn a 6-3 win, giving up just one hit while walking five and striking out three. Her third win came in a full seven inning effort in an 8-2 victory over Randolph. She gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits with three walks and seven strikeouts. She also worked 1.1 innings in a 5-1 loss in the nightcap against the WildCats.

Ruthie Williams, Roanoke (Jr.)
Williams went 3-0 in three appearances in the circle last week. She went all five frames in a shortened 15-2 win over Randolph, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits with a walk and two strikeouts. She worked the last two innings to get an 8-4 win in game two over Lynchburg. She gave up one hit and struckout one in that outing. Her final win came via a three-inning start in a 14-0 shortened victory over Sweet Briar. She did not allow a hit and struck out four.
