Hull, a junior from Chesterfield, Va., left no doubt about her level of preparedness entering the new season as the two-time Division III Player of the Year stuck out all but one batter she faced in a 15-0 season-opening victory over Meredith. Hull worked the first 4.0 frames of of the shortened afair and didn't allow a hit while walking one and fanning 12. Hull, the ODAC's all-time career and single-season strikeout leader, opened the game with four punchouts, walked a batter with one down in the second, and then sent the next eight hitters back to the dugout.
