Rolle, a first-year from Marion, Iowa, started off her collegiate career with a strong .714/.714/.714 slash line in helping the Marlins to a season-opening sweep of Meredith. Rolle went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen bases as Virginia Wesleyan's lead-off hitter in her first game. Her efforts helped VWU to a 15-0 shortened victory. Game two didn't go the full distance either with the Marlins claiming a 9-0 win in five innings. Rolle went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a run driven in to go with a stolen base.
