Martin, a sophomore from Bridgewater, Va., hit safely in each of four games played last week, helping Bridgewater to a 4-0 record. Martin slashed .700/.750/1.500 in going 7-for-10 with a triple, two homers, seven RBI, and six runs scored. She was a combined 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI, two runs scored, and a walk in a sweep of PSU-Altoona (8-0, 9-1). Martin went 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBI, and three runs scored in a 10-6 triumph over Defiance. She capped her week by going 1-for-2 with a walk, homer, two RBI, and a run scored in a 3-0 win over Dominican (Ill.).
