Hull, a junior from Chesterfield, Va., improved to 10-0 on the season as the nationally top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Marlins remain unbeaten at 15-0. Hull appeared six times last week and posted five victories with a save. While she allowed her first two runs (one earned) of the season, Hull surrendered just 11 hits and fanned 45 batters in 23.2 innings in the circle. She struck out 14 batters and allowed two hits with two walks in a complete-game 5-0 win over Averett. She worked 2.0 shutout and hitless frames in game two, punching out five more Cougars on the way to a save in a 4-1 victory. Hull started and won both games of a sweep of nationally 18th-ranked Salisbury. She worked 4.0 scoreless innings and allowed just one hit with nine strikeouts in a 6-4 win in game one. She went 5.0 innings in game two, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits with four walks and eight strikeouts on the way to a 6-2 triumph. Victory #4 on the week came in game one against Randolph where she allowed two hits and struck out five WildCats in a 10-1 decision. She worked the final 1.2 innings in game two, giving up two hits with four strikeouts on the way to a 4-1 win. For the season, Hull is 10-1 with a save in 11 appearances. She leads the country with 116 strikeouts in 52.2 innings of work. The one earned run she allowed against Salisbury raised her ERA to 0.13.
