Eure, a sophomore from Summerfield, N.C., filled up the stat sheet on the way to slashing .500/.563/1.143 in a 4-0 season-opening week for the Panthers. Eure went 7-for-14 with 8 runs scored, a double, triple, two homers, three RBI, two walks, and five stolen bases in sweeps over Greensboro College and Methodist University. She was 3-for-6 with a walk in 5-2 and 6-4 victories over the Pride. She doubled and scored in game one and homered twice with a trio of RBI in game two. Eure then went 4-for-8 with a walk, 5 runs scored, a triple, and four stolen bases in 6-4 and 14-6 triumphs at Methodist. She registered three hits with two steals in game one and scored three times with two steals in game two.
