Watts, a first-year from South Boston, Va., helped the Hornets improved to 5-1 on the season with a 3-1 week that included a sweep of Mary Baldwin (9-1, 14-6) and a split at Methodist (4-5, 3-0). Watts went 5-for-9 with a pair of walks. She doubled once and homered twice while scoring three runs and driving in seven. She had at least one RBI in each contest and collected one stolen base. She blasted both homers -- solo shots -- in game one against MBU. She drove in three runs in game two and then tallied an RBI each in the contests at Methodist. She doubled in game one.
