Kelly, a senior from Phoenix, Md., earned all-tournament
team recognition after helping the Marlins to a pair of wins at the
St. Thomas Classic in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. In Virginia
Wesleyan's opening 61-52 over Nichols (Mass.), Kelly posted
career-highs of 21 points and 21 rebounds. The 21 boards set
a new ODAC seasonal top mark with 11 of her caroms coming via the
offensive glass. She is just hte third Marlin to ever record
a 20-plus rebound game. She shot 10-of-17 from the field.
In a 67-63 triumph over Emerson (Mass.), Kelly notched 14
points and five board while adding two assists. She was
6-of-9 from the field. Overall, Kelly averaged 17.5 points
and 13.0 rebounds, shooting 61.5-percent (16-of-26). She's
averaging 12.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She leads
the ODAC in field goal shooting at 63.2-percent
(55-of-87).
