Harris, a sophomore from Fredericksburg, Va., averaged 27.5 points over two wins for the Marlins last weekend. Harris opened her week with a career-best 35-point explosion to lead Virginia Wesleyan to a 65-63 win over Ferrum. She was 11-of-20 from the field including 6-of-10 from deep. She also made 7-of-9 from the stripe. She added five rebounds and four assists. Her 35 points are the most scored by a Marlin since Amy Simpson hit for 35 on January 23, 1986. Harris followed with a 20-point outing in a 60-33 victory at Hollins to begin ODAC play. She was 6-of-12 from the field and hit 6-of-8 from beyond the arc while making both of her foul shots. She chipped in eight rebounds and four more assists. For the season, Harris is second in the ODAC in scoring at 21.2 points per game. She is first in three-pointers made (16) and third in three-point percentage (42.1), and has made the second-most field goals (35) and free throws (20).
