Hopson, a sophomore from Mechanicsville, Va., picks up her second weekly award of the season after leading Roanoke to a big ODAC victory in its lone game of the week. Hopson registered 17 points and was responsible for at least 24 more tallies with 12 assists for her first collegiate double-double in the Maroons 83-59 victory over Emory & Henry. The Wasps had won their previous 10 games and had not yet lost in ODAC play. Hopson, who added three rebounds and a steal to her line, was 5-of-11 from the field and canned all five of her foul shots. She committed just one turnover as Roanoke's primary ball-handler. For the season. Hopson is second in the ODAC in steals (34) and fifth in assists (53). She is averaging 10.1 points per game in 26.4 minutes per contest.
