Alexis Hoppers, Emory & Henry, Jr., Center

Hoppers, a junior from Sparta, N.C., finished the regular season like she started it with a pair of double-doubles to help Emory & Henry to a 1-1 week against ODAC foes. Hopper opened with 21 point and 14 rebounds in an 85-67 victory over Ferrum. She was 9-of-14 from the floor including 1-of-4 from deep and made both of her foul shouts. Three of her rebounds came via the offensive glass and she registered a steal. Hoppers followed up her sixth double-double of the year with her seventh in a 71-67 setback to Shenandoah. She again poured in 21 points to go with 13 boards, including four offensive rebounds. She went 5-of-12 from the field and canned 11-of-12 from the charity stripe to give her a 92.9-percent (13-of-14) for the week. On the season, Hoppers is averaging 13.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, the latter ranking third in the ODAC. She leads the league in total points (164), offensive (37), defensive (73) and total rebounds (110), and field goals made (62-of-128).
