Catherine Kagey, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Forward

Kagey, a junior from Roanoke, Va., posted her fourth and fifth double-doubles of the season in helping Randolph-Macon to a pair of victories at the Daytona Beach Shootout on December 19 and 21. Kagey opened with 28 points and 10 rebounds in a 55-49 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a program which reached the 2022 NCAA quarterfinals. Kagey was 11-of-18 from the field and scored the Yellow Jackets final 12 points to seal the victory. She added a pair of assists, a steal, and a blocked shot to her line. Cagey then dropped 22 points and pulled down 16 boards in a 55-43 win over St. Norbert College. She was 8-of-15 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul. Seven of her rebounds came via the offensive glass. She chipped in three assists, three blocked shots, and a steal. For the season, Kagey leads the ODAC in scoring (15.7) and is second in minutes played (34.0) and defensive rebounds (71). she is third in field goals made (63-of-127), total rebounds (94), and rebounding average (9.4), fifth in points (157), seventh in field goal shooting (49.6%).
