
Mansfield, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., made two appearances on the mound last week, starting against Greensboro and picking up the save against Roanoke. In the Greensboro game, he pitched seven innings while only giving up seven hits and one earned run. He struck out seven while earning the win. Against Roanoke, he picked up the save with an effective performance in the ninth inning, sealing the seventh straight win for LC. Mansfield is tied for first place for most saves (5) in the ODAC.

Joseph Lucas, Bridgewater, Junior
Lucas allowed two hits in seven innings to help lead
the Eagles to a 2-0 victory over W&L. Lucas struck out six and
walked two. He left after the seventh inning after sitting through
a lightning and rain delay.
Borja Jones-Berasaluce, Guilford, Sophomore
Jones-Berasaluce went 1-0 with seven strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA in
two appearances in the Quakers’ 3-1 week… threw three
scoreless frames with three strikeouts in a midweek start versus
Greensboro… picked up the win in game two of
Guilford’s first road sweep of Virginia Wesleyan with seven
innings of work… allowed 11 hits, three earned runs, walked
one and struck out four for his career-best third win of the
season.
Jamie Hendrick, Randolph-Macon, Junior
Hendrick won his only start of the week, going eight innings,
allowing six hits and two runs while striking out three and not
issuing a walk in R-MC’s 4-3 victory over Washington and
Lee.
