Gallet, a sophomore from Stafford, Va., improved to 5-0 on the season with a complete-game 5-1 victory over Guilford last week. He allowed one run while scattering nine hits. He walked one and struck out a career-high eight batters.

Baseball Pitcher Honor Roll

Ryan Lindsay, Guilford, Freshman
Lindsay earned his team-leading third ODAC win of the season in Guilford’s win at Bridgewater, the Quakers’ first at Jopson Field since 2000… went 1-0 in two appearances last week with a 3.00 ERA and two strikeouts… gave up one run in an inning of relief against Roanoke… threw a scoreless eighth and ninth inning in the win over Bridgewater, during which time the Eagles had two hits.

Ryan Wood, Randolph-Macon, Senior
Wood picked up two saves without allowing a hit for R-MC this week.  He struck out the side in R-MC’s win over VWC on Wednesday and did not allow a hit to preserve an 8-7 victory for R-MC over H-SC on Saturday.

Dalton Altizer, Roanoke, Freshman, Pitcher
Altizer pitched a complete game victory when the Maroons defeated Eastern Mennonite 6-1 on Saturday.  He gave up only one run off nine hits and struck out five.  He also only walked one player in the 38 he faced on the day.
