Whitaker, a frehsman from Roanoke, Va., picked up two complete game ODAC victories as the Tigers earned a spot in the ODAC Tournament. Whitaker shut down the Virginia Wesleyan bats on Wednesday in going the distance, and then came back on Saturday to pitch nine more innings to pick up a 4-1 win over Bridgewater. Against the Marlins, Whitaker allowed one run on five hits while striking out six. He again held his opponent to one run on Saturday, giving up a solo homerun in the second, before pitching seven straight shutout innings. Bridgewater recorded eight hits against him, but he struck out five while walking just two. Whitaker now stands at 7-3 on the season in 16 appearances and eight starts. He also has two saves, 50 strikeouts and just a 2.60 ERA.

Will Dingus, Emory & Henry, Junior
Dingus picked up the complete-game victory for E&H in game one Saturday against Guilford … The junior scattered 10 hits over nine innings of work allowing six runs (four earned) while striking out two.

Chad Wagoner, Guilford, Freshman
Wagoner tossed two scoreless innings of relief in the second game of Guilford’s doubleheader loss to Emory & Henry… allowed just one hit, fanned two and faced just one batter above the minimum.

Robert Garrett, Lynchburg, Senior
Garrett went seven innings in his last home appearance as a Hornet on Friday, relinquishing only six hits and two runs in an ODAC win over Washington & Lee. He struck out seven in the game, which is the third game in a row he has pitched at least six innings and his fourth win out of the last five starts. His six wins are tied for second in the conference.

Jamie Hendrick, Randolph-Macon, Junior
Hendrick tossed a complete game against Roanoke at the Salem Red Sox Field in Salem, Va.  The junior struck out three while allowing just seven hits and two earned runs in helping the Yellow Jackets sweep the Maroons in the final ODAC doubleheader of the year.
