Miller, a sophomore from Vesuvius, Va., threw fired his second straight complete game of the season as he helped the Hornets upset sixth-ranked Birmingham-Southern, 7-2. In nine complete innings of work, he surrendered two runs (both earned) on seven hits without walking a batter. He struck out seven, giving him nine K's on the season. He has not walked a batter in his last 15 innings pitched

Posey was strong on a freezing day Sunday, pitching (and hitting)
the Royals to a 16-2 win over New Jersey City. Posey pitched seven
innings, scattering six hits and just two runs before hitting his
pitch count limit. He struck out nine batters. He also kept busy
during EMU's at-bats by going 3-for-3 with two walks and one HBP
out of the leadoff spot, scoring three runs.
Tyler Tuttle, Guilford - (Sr, P - Wilkesboro, N.C.,

Tuttle threw 1.2 scoreless innings for the Quakers this week,
including earning the win in Guilford's 7-6 win over University of
Maine at Presque Isle Sunday... he allowed five hits and struck out
two batters in his two games this week.
Cameron Holshouser, Roanoke - (So, P - Salem, VA,
15)
Holshouser pitched five innings and gave up two runs (one earned)
off three hits in Roanoke's 3-0 loss to Frostburg State. He struck
out six batters.
Alex Tucci, Virginia Wesleyan - (So, P -
Stewartstown, Pa.)
Tucci put together an outstanding seven-inning effort against No. 9
Salisbury, guiding VWC to a 3-3 tie. He struck out six
batters, walked none, allowed no earned runs, and scattered three
hits before being relieved in the eighth.
