Corbin Lucas, Shenandoah, So., Outfielder

Lucas, a sophomore from Grottoes, Va., helped the Hornets to a 3-0 week, including a conference sweep of Guilford College.  Lucas went 6-for-12 (.500) from the dish, registering two hits each of the three contests.  He notched three RBI in a 5-1 win over Mary Washington, and followed that up with three more driven in during a 6-5 game one win over Guilford.  He had a two-run double in the fourth inning of that contest.  In game two, Lucas had another RBI double to help the Hornets to a 9-2 victory.  He finished the week with seven runs batted in.

Andrew Hacker, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Sr, 3B - Mechanicsville, VA, 24)
Hacker continued his early-season torrid hitting pace with a 6-for-10 effort in a DH sweep at Va. Wesleyan. Hacker was 2-for-5 with a run and one RBI in a 7-5 win in game one. In game two, he was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and one RBI.

Ryan McAlister, East. Mennonite - (Jr, 2B - Bridgewater, VA, 11)
McAlister helped EMU's offense score 40 runs in five games at the Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational last week, as he batted .400 (8-for-20) and hit safely in all five games. He scored eight runs and drove in two more. Against MCLA, McAlister's two-run single gave the Royals the go-ahead runs in their final at-bat. EMU won their final three games in Florida to return home 11-8 overall, thus tying their win total from each of the three past seasons.

Kent Peterson, Guilford - (Sr, IF - Albemarle, N.C., 7)
Peterson led Guilford in batting during the Quakers' 1-2 week as he went 6-for-14 with a triple and three RBI.  He also scored two runs as he hit safely in all three games.  He had a season-best three hits in a 10-6 win over Averett.  He's currently on a 10-game hitting streak, having hit safely in 13 of 15 games played.

Beau Flinchum, Hampden-Sydney -
(Sr, SS - Ashland, VA, 1)
Flinchum batted in seven runs while helping the Tigers to a 2-0 mark on the week. The Ashland native hit .333, recording three hits in nine at bats. Four of his RBI came in the Tigers' 8-5 win over Roanoke with a grand slam in the fifth inning. In the second game, Flinchum was 2-for-4 with a run and three more RBI.  He also scored two runs on the week.

Lincoln Evans, Lynchburg - (So, OF - Troutville, VA, 3)
Evans went 7-for-13 in a 2-1 week for Lynchburg, highlighted by a career-best four hits in an 8-5 loss to Averett.  He had a double in a 4-2 win over E&H in game one, and drove in a run in an 11-2 game two win over the Wasps.  He had hits in five straight at bats during the week, helping lift his batting average to .312.

Jeb Weymouth, Randolph-Macon - (Sr, CF - Rockville, VA / Hanover, 14)
Weymouth led Randolph-Macon to a 3-0 week that included a sweep of Washington and Lee.  He went 5-for-12 overall with a double and a triple.  He drove in two runs and scored a pair.  He also walked twice.
