Stanley, a senior from Henrico, Va., picks up his second weekly award of the season after blanking Hampden-Sydney, 7-0, for his fourth complete game and third shutout, both tops in the ODAC. In nine innings of work, Stanley gave up just five hits and walked a pair while striking out two. He improved his record to 4-2 with the win, while also lowering his earned run average to 2.47, seventh in the conference. His four victories are tied for second, while his 43.2 innings on the hill are fourth.

Tyler Tuttle, Guilford - (Sr, P -
Wilkesboro, N.C., 34)
Tuttle threw 2.1 innings of scoreless relief in the Quakers' 1-3
week. He notched his first save of the year with 1.1
scoreless innings versus Lynchburg. He lowered his ERA to a
team-best 2.57.
Charlie Thieringer, Lynchburg - (So, P -
Long Valley, NJ, 42)
Thieringer pitched four innings in relief for the Hornets this
week, picking up his ODAC-best fourth save with a three-inning
finishing effort in a 10-3 win over Tufts. He gave up one run
on one hit with a walk and two strikeouts on the week.
Will Jennings, Randolph-Macon - (Fr, RHP
- Ashland, VA / Patrick Henry, 34)
Jennings pitched 2.1 innings of relief over three
appearances. He picked up the save by getting the final out
in R-MC's 10-9 win over Shenandoah. He threw a scoreless
inning against H-SC and gave up two unearned runs on two hits in
game two against SU.
Michael Scimanico, Shenandoah - (Fr, LHP
- Dumont, N.J., 41)
Scimanico earned a pair of wins in relief for the Hornets.
He tossed 2.1 perfect innings with four strike outs in a 21-5 win
over Eastern Mennonite. He came back with 4.1 innings of
one-hit ball in an 8-4 win over R-MC. He walked six and
fanned three in that contest.
Alex Tucci, Va. Wesleyan - (So, Pitcher
- Stewartstown, Pa., 35)
Tucci pitched a complete game in a 9-4 victory over Emory &
Henry College. He scattered nine hits and two walks and tied a
season high with eight strikeouts. He has pitched in 44.1 innings
for the Marlins and owns a 3.45 ERA. Tucci has struck out 33
batters, including 16 in his last two appearances.
Andrew Shott, Washington and Lee - (So,
- Bethesda, Md., 19)
In his first collegiate start, Shott went 7.0 innings, while
allowing only one earned run in a 10-8 victory over Earlham last
Tuesday. He walked only one batter, and scattered five hits. Shott
struck out 11 batters, which marked an ODAC high for a pitcher this
year. Shott lowered his season ERA to 3.00 and improved to 1-0 on
the year.
