Robert Gallet, Bridgewater, Jr., Pitcher

Gallet, a junior from Stafford, Va., went the distance for the Eagles in a 12-1 win over Roanoke in game two of a double-header on Saturday.  He allowed just two hits and only walked one batter in giving up one run.  He punched out 11 Maroons in the effort, marking a season-high for the Eagles' righty.  The win improved his season record to 5-3 with a 5.25 earned run average in 48.0 innings of work.  The complete game was his first of the season.

Tyler Tuttle, Guilford - (Sr, P - Wilkesboro, N.C., 34)
Tuttle notched his team-leading fifth win of the season with a scoreless inning of relief in the Quakers' comeback win over Southern Virginia.  He also tossed a scoreless ninth to close out Guilford's victory over Emory & Henry.  He extended his scoreless innings streak to 12 over eight appearances, and trimmed his ERA to a club-low 1.64.

Zach Whitaker, Hampden-Sydney - (Fr, RHP - Roanoke, VA, 39)
Whitaker improved to 5-2 while throwing his third complete game of the season in a 7-5 win over Virginia Wesleyan. Whitaker held the Marlins off the board in five innings and allowed five runs on the day though just two were earned on nine hits. Whitaker fanned 12 batters in his nine innings of work. The Roanoke native boasts a 3.09 ERA with nine starts and 58.1 innings pitched.

Martin Henderlite, Lynchburg - (So, P - Roanoke, VA, 34)
Henderlite gave up seven hits and two walks while striking out five in seven innings of work towards an 11-0 win over #25 Shenandoah. He has not allowed a run since March 22 against Tufts, covering 21 innings of work and victories over EMU, Randolph-Macon, and, most-recently, Shenandoah. He is now 8-1 with an ERA of 0.99.

Michael Helbig, Randolph-Macon - (Sr, RHP - Midlothian, VA / Midlothian, 25)
Helbig earned his fourth win on the mound Saturday afternoon against Emory and Henry. The senior righty allowed just one earned run on six hits and four walks over seven innings while fanning five in the 17-4 victory.

Alex Tucci, Va. Wesleyan - (So, Pitcher - Stewartstown, Pa., 35)
Tucci improved his record to 5-4 with a nine-inning shutout of Eastern Mennonite on Saturday. He scattered seven hits and a pair of walks while striking out six batters in the 5-0 win. Tucci improved his ERA to 3.60 and his team-leading strikeout total to 58.
