Gregory, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., appeared three times out of the bullpen for the Maroons and picked up two wins and a save as the Roanoke secured its first ODAC tournament placement since 2004. Gregory opened the week with two scoreless innings of two-hit ball to earn the win in a 4-3 10-inning triumph over Lynchburg. He picked up his second victory of the week with 2.2 innings of work in a 6-5 win over Eastern Mennonite. He gave up one run on four hits. In the nightcap of that series, he tossed the final two frames to record his second save of the season. On the year, Gregory is tied for the league lead with 20 appearances. He owns a 3-1 record with 37 strikeouts and a 2.86 earned run average in 44.0 innings of work.

Nick Corbin, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Jr,
P - Staunton, Va., 35)
Corbin made three appearances on the week and earned saves in both
games of a DH at Lynchburg. He pitched 3.2 innings during the week
and allowed no runs on two hits while striking out three. In Game 1
vs Lynchburg, he entered the game in the eighth with two on and one
out and worked out of the jam, to preserve a 2-1 lead. He retired
the side in order in the ninth to record the save. In the second
game, he entered with two on and no outs in the ninth and earned
his second save of the day in the 3-2 win.
Daniel Stanley, East. Mennonite - (Sr, P
- Henrico, VA, 32)
Stanley struck out a career high 12 batters over seven innings
during a 4-2 loss to Roanoke. Stanley allowed just five hits, but
took the loss when the Maroons scored 3 runs (2 earned) in the
seventh inning. Stanley finishes his career by leading the ODAC
with six complete games and three shutouts. He is third in the
league with 60 strikeouts and closes with a 5-5 record and 3.13 ERA
in 74.2 innings.
Tyler Tuttle, Guilford - (Sr, P -
Wilkesboro, N.C., 34)
Tuttle closed out Guilford wins over Emory & Henry and
Randolph-Macon as part of the Quakers' 4-0 week. He fanned
seven over four innings. He had a career-high five strikeouts
in three innings of relief in Guilford's 5-3 win over
Randolph-Macon, which earned him his team-leading third save of the
season. He did not allow a hit last week and walked just one
batter.
Sid Harvey, Randolph-Macon - (So, LHP -
Ashburn, VA / Stone Bridge, 16)
Harvey tossed a perfect inning of relief to pick up the win over
No. 17 Christopher Newport Wednesday. The sophomore is now 2-0
against the Captains this season.
