Vince Claudio, Shenandoah, Sr., Pitcher

Claudio, a senior from Forest, Va., picked up a pair of wins in 13.2 innings of work last week, his first innings of the season.  He opened with seven shutout innings towards a complete game one-hitter with one walk and 12 strikeouts in a 3-0 victory over Susquehanna.  He followed that with 6.2 innings on the bump in a 19-2 win over Roanoke.  He gave up two unearned runs on two hits withe four walks and six strikeouts.

Nick Corbin, Bridgewater (Sr., P. - Staunton, Va.)
Corbin went eight innings, giving up one unearned run on four hits with five strikeouts in a 3-1 win at Randolph-Macon.

Ty Hill, Emory & Henry (So., P. - Knoxville, Tenn.)
Hill went the distance in earning a 6-3 win over Eastern Mennonite.  In nine complete innings, he gave up three runs while scattering 13 hits with one walk and a pair of strikeouts.  He recorded 14 ground ball outs, which resulted in three double plays.

Drew Crawford, Guilford (Jr., P. - Newport, Tenn.)
Crawford went eight innings, fiving up four runs (three earned) on five hits with one walk and four K's to the earn the win in a 15-4 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan.

Matt Fischgrung, Randolph-Macon (Sr., P - Gloucester, Va.)
Fischgrund picked up a four-inning save in an 11-5 win over Bridgewater.  He gave up three runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts.

Kyle Tipping, Washington and Lee (So, P. - Green Lane, Pa.)
Tipping appeared in two games last week, throwing eight innings and earning a win.  In a 4-2 win over Southern Virginia, Tipping picked up the "W" by allowing just one hit in a four shutout innigns with a walk.  He threw four more scoreless frames in an 11-6 win at Lynchburg, surrendering two hits and a walk while fanning one.
