Michael Paul, Shenandoah, Jr., Third Base

Paul, a junior from Red Hill, Pa., helped the Hornets to a 5-1 week by batting .423 (11-for-26) and reaching base in all six games played.  Paul smacked six doubles and two homers among his 11 hits, scoring 10 times and driving in 14 runs.  He also walked five times towards a .531 on-base percentage, and racked up an .885 slugging percentage.  He had three multi-hit games, including a 3-for-6 showing with three doubles and four RBI in a 15-12 win over Hampden-Sydney.  He went 3-for-3 with a double and homer to go with four more RBI in a 13-10 triumph over SUNY-Cortland.  Paul is currently third in the ODAC in batting (.463) and OBP (.547), while leading the league in slugging (.796).  He's fourth with 21 runs scored.

Baseball Player Honor Roll

Justin Petock, Bridgewater (So., 3B - Woodbridge, Va.)
Petock hit for a .474 average and a .737 slugging percentage in five games. He was 2-for-4 with one RBI in a win over Daniel Webster. In a doubleheader vs. E&H, he was 6-for-8 with three runs, four RBI, two doubles and a homer.

Brett Johnson, Emory & Henry (So., OF - Sugar Grove, Va.)
Johnson went 7-for-15 in the Wasps' 2-3 week.  He had a trio of two-hit games and scored seven runs.  He walked five times towards a .619 OBP.

Nathan Fulbright, Guilford (So., C - Salisbury, N.C.)
Fulbright went 5-for-7 in the Quakers' sweep of Washington and Lee.  He hit a homer, scored three times and drove in three runs.  He went 4-for-4 in the opening game, marking his 10th multi-hit game of the season.

Hunter Lewis, Hampden-Sydney (Sr., 3B - Newport News, Va.)
Lewis went 11-for-20 in the Tigers 3-2 week.  He had a pair of four-hit games, including a 4-for-5 effort in a 10-1 win over Birmingham Southern.  He was 4-for-6 with three RBI in a 15-12 loss to Shenandoah.  He drove in four runs on the week and scored five times.

Joe Tomasulo, Lynchburg (So., 2B - Somers, N.Y.)
Tomasulo had four multi-hit games on the way to a 12-for-22 showing in the Hornets' 4-1 week.  He scored six runs, smacked a double and triple, and drove in 10 runs.  He was 3-for-4 with a triple and five RBI in a 26-3 win over Emory & Henry.  He followed that with a 4-for-4 day with a double, four RBI and two walks in a 17-14 win at Virginia Wesleyan.

Nate Meiners, Randolph-Macon (Jr., IF - Silver Springs, Md.)
Meiners went 7-for-10 in the Yellow Jackets 2-1 week that included a sweep of EMU.  He collected three hits in each of those games, rapping a pair of doubles in game one and smashing a homer with three RBI in game two.  He scored five runs overall with four driven in.

Hayden Lee, Roanoke (Fr., IF - Richmond, Va.)
Lee helped RC to a sweep of William Peace over the weekend.  He was 4-for-12 for the week, including a walk-off three homer in a 5-2 win over WPU in game one.  He and a double and two RBI in game two.  He drove in six runs for the week.

Clay Walker, Virginia Wesleyan (Fr., 2B/3B - South Hill, Va.)
Walker batted .588 (10-for-17) in the Marlins 3-2 week.  He scored four runs, drove in five and stole five bases.  He was 4-for-4 with two RBI and run scored in a 6-2 win over Lynchburg.
