John Wilt, Shenandoah, Jr., Shortstop

Wilt, a junior from Mountville, Pa., registered four extra-base hits among his nine knocks on the week, going 9-for-18 overall to help the Hornets to a 3-1 week.  He also drove in 10 runs, scored three times and stole two bases.  Wilt hit a two-run shot in a 9-5 loss to Mary Washington, but followed that with a 3-for-4 showing with two more runs driven in in a 5-1 win over Washington and Lee.  Wilt finished the week going 5-for-10 in a sweep of Guilford. That included a 4-for-5 effort with two doubles and three RBI in an 8-7 game-two win.  He hit a three-run homer in the first game, helping SU to an 8-1 victory.  For the season, Wilt is fifth in the ODAC with a .400 batting average. His .615 slugging percentage ranks fourth.

Baseball Player Weekly Honor Roll

Austin Batten, Bridgewater (So. - IF)
Batten went 6-for-10 as BC split two ODAC games last week.  He was a double shy of the cycle in going 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI in an 8-6 win over EMU. He was 3-of-r5 with a double and a run scored in a 17-7 setback at VWC.

Joe Metts, Guilford (Jr. - IF)
Metts hit 467 (7-for-15) with three doubles, a triple, four RBI and three runs scored in the Quakers 1-3 week. He had two doubles in an 8-6 win over E&H before driving in three runs with a double and a triple in an 8-7 loss to Methodist.  His single in the ninth forced extra innings in that contest.  He's currently on a 10-game hitting streak.

Christian Sanderson, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - OF)
Sanderson went 4-for-11 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in helping R-MC to a 2-1 week.  He had two hits in a 7-1 win over W&L.  He registered one RBI in each game.

Will Decker, Roanoke (Jr. - OF)
Decker went 6-for-16 with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored in the Maroons 2-2 week.  He was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in a 5-3 win over LC, and followed that with a 3-for-4 day with a double and a RBI in a 7-5 setback to Averett. 

Taylor Erby, Virginia Wesleyan (Jr. - OF)
Erby went 4-for-14 with a double, homer, six RBI and two runs scored last week.  He went 2-for-6 in a 17-7 win over Bridgewater, belting his first grand slam on the way to five RBI.
