Joseph Tuzzolo, Randolph-Macon, Sr., First Base

Tuzzolo, a senior from Newport News, Va., was a mainstay on the basepaths in the Yellow Jackets road sweep of Emory & Henry. Tuzzolo was 6-for-8 from the dish and posted a .750/.778/1.625 slash line in the series. He went 3-for-4 in both games. He scored three runs in game one and drove in two runs towards a 19-6 win. In game two, he scored four times and homered twice on the way to posting seven RBI in a 22-5 triumph. For the season, Tuzzolo is fifth in the ODAC in hitting (.429) and owns the conference's best slugging percentage at 1.029. He's also #1 in homers (6) and is second with 19 runs driven in and 36 total bases.

Austin Batten, BC: went 14-for-30 with a double, two homers, 14 RBI and six runs scored in seven games for the Eagles last week. He also walked four times. Went 4-for-5 with a double, homer, and six RBI in a 25-0 whitewashing of Penn College. Had four more hits including a homer with five RBI in a 15-4 drubbing of PSU-Berks.

Trevor Denton, GC: went 5-for-17 with a double, homer, and seven RBI in the Quakers 3-1 week. Had four RBI including a homer in a 10-9 triumph over Wittenberg.

Devin Daugherty, H-SC: went 8-for-16 with two doubles, a triple, homer, eight RBI, and three runs scored in a 2-2 week. Was 5-for-7 with two walks, a double, triple, homer, eight RBI and a run scored in a sweep of Washington and Lee (5-1, 13-2).

Brad Hylton, LC: went 7-for-16 with three doubles, a triple, homer, six RBI, and seven runs scored in teh Hornets 3-1 week. Went 3-for-4 with a triple, homer, and four RBI in a 12-9 win over Averett. Tied for #1 in Division III in RBI (24) thru games of March 8.

Sean Guida, RC: went 6-for-11 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored, three walks, and a stolen base in a 3-0 week that included a sweep on the road at Bridgewater (7-3, 6-5). Drove in two runs in a 3-for-4 day in a 9-4 win at Ferrum.

Dylan Gentry, VWU: was 7-for-16 with three runs scored and a stolen base in a 2-1 week that included a sweep on the road at Eastern Mennonite (8-3, 17-9). Went 5-for-12 with three runs and a RBI at EMU.
