Colin Selby, Randolph-Macon, Jr., Pitcher

Selby, a junior from Chesapeak, Va., had the strikeout pitch working in a 10-5 victory at Washington and Lee as he set down a new career-high and ODAC season-high 14 Generals in a full seven innings of work. He gave up two runs (one earned) and scattered seven hits while walking a pair. After giving up two runs in the first inning, Selby settled down to retire the next five straight with four coming via strikeout. He fanned at least one batter each inning, striking out the side in both the fourth and fifth innings. The outing marked his seven 10-plus punchout game of the season. Selby is now 5-1 on the season with a 2.81 earned run average in 41.2 innings of work. He's struck out a league-best 61 batters.

Jordan Showalter, BC: gave up one run on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts in seven full innings to get the win at Washington and Lee, 10-3.

Tyler Campbell, EMU: took a no-decision in a loss (12-4) to W&L. Gave up one run on five hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Gavin Felty, E&H: set down the 10 of the first 11 batters he faced on the way to an 11-3 win over Lynchburg. Worked 7.1 innings, giving up two runs on four hits with with three walks and a career-best 12 strikeouts. Registered a trio of 1-2-3 innings.

Ryan Irby, LC: started and received a no-decision with five innings of shutout three-hit ball in a 4-3 loss to N.C. Wesleyan. Walked two and fanned six, a new career-high.

Forrest Wagner, RC: won twice in relief with 5.1 innings of combined work. Gave up one run on two hits with a walk and two K's in 2.1 innings of a 9-3 win at E&H. Surrendered one run on three hits with a walk in 3.0 frames in an 11-4 victory at H-SC.

Jacob Pilarski, VWU: moved to 6-0 (fourth in D3) on the season with seven innings of four-hit ball in an 11-1 win in game one of a sweep at Bridgewater. Gave up one unearned run with three walks and four strikeouts.
