Holden Fiedler, Lynchburg, Fy., Catcher

Fiedler, a first-year catcher from Henrico, Va., slashed .611/.650/.889 last week to help lead Lynchburg to a 4-0 week that featured three conference victories. Fiedler opened with a 4-for-5 day in a 9-6 win at Virginia Wesleyan. He doubled, stole a base and scored two runs in the winning effort. He then doubled and drove in three runs as part of a 3-for-5 showing in a marathon-like 15-7 win over Averett. He also scored a run in that contest. Fielder went 4-for-8 in the week-capping sweep on the road at Emory & Henry (14-8, 12-5). He hammered his first collegiate homer, drover in two runs, and scored four times in game one, and scored and registered his sixth RBI of the week in game two. For the season, Fiedler is slashing .344/.429/.453 with four doubles, a homer, and 13 RBI.
