The reigning ODAC Player of the Year reached base in seven of his first 10 plate appearances on the way to a .517/.700/1.143 slash line. He went 4-for-7 with three walks, two runs scored, a double, two-run homer, and three RBI as the Yellow Jackets rang up 6-3 and 9-3 victories over Rhodes College and Belhaven, respectively. Nickles' two-run blast came against Rhodes, while he went 3-for-4 with a double and two walks against Belhaven.
