Randolph-Macon scored early and often in its 56-28 win over Catholic.  The Yellow Jackets registered the game's first 35 points through the early part of the third quarter.  Quarterback Austin Faulkner threw for one touchdown -- a three-yarder to Dan Crouch -- and ran for three short touchdowns.  Drake Sanders (141 yards) and Will McGhee (109 yards) each eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark.  Sanders added two TDs.  Earl Peoples caught 10 passes for 151 yards.  Vance Hendren hauled in a touchdown pass from Luke Sellers.  Defensively, Brandon Harrison returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown in R-MC's 21-point second quarter.  For Catholic, receiver Alonzo Cooke set a new career-high with 207 receiving yards on seven receptions.  He had a pair of touchdown catches, including a 76-yard scoring play.  Greg Cordivari threw for 308 yards and three TDs with his remaining touchdown pass going to Lawrence DeSimone.  Mike Pitsenberger ran for 92 yards and also had 47 yards receiving. Conor Stueckler led the CUA defense with seven tackles. --- Box Score

Hampden-Sydney trailed 14-7 and 17-10 at different points in the game, but a big third quarter with timely defensive plays helped the Tigers to a 24-17 win over Bridgewater.  Receiver Sean Cavanagh had the game's first score via a 12-yard touchdown, but the Eagles got on the board with a pair of touchdowns by receiver Tyler Beiler.  Down 17-10 in the third quarter, H-SC took advantage of a BC miscue as a high snap bounded amongst players for 30 yards back to the BC 12-yard line where H-SC safety Thomas McDonald (Def. Player of the Week) pounced on the loose ball.  Evan King ran the ball in on the next play to the tie the game 17-17.  After each team traded possessions, Shane Clarke intercepted Bridgewater and returned it 43 yards to set up the eventual game-winning score.  Six plays later, Travis Lane hit Stuart Callahan from three-yards out to put H-SC ahead, 24-17.  Bridgewater had one final possession late in the fourth quarter.  McDonald helped stymie its progress as his third-down sack forced a fourth-and-long that BC was unable to convert, giving the ball back to H-SC with three kneel-downs ensuing. --- Box Score

Sophomore running backs Luke Heinsohn and Brett Murray (Off. Player of the Week) both rushed for over 100 yards as Washington and Lee rolled up 425 rushing yards in posting a 45-24 victory over Emory & Henry.  Saturday marked the second consecutive game that W&L posted better than 400 yards on the ground.  Murray went for 121 yards and two touchdowns rushing, and added a third touchdown via a 15-yard reception.  Heinsohn collected for 130 yards and one touchdown on the ground, while Charlie Westfal (65 yards) added a fourth running score.  Harrison Hudson nearly made it three backs over the century mark as he rushed for 95 yards.  Westfal threw two touchdown passes with one to Alex Evans joining Murray's TD catch.  Defensively, Jake Pelton and Jesse Jenkins intercepted passes.  Pelton’s INT came in the end zone and stopped a possible E&H scoring drive.  For Emory & Henry, Caleb Jennings was held to 69 yards on the ground, but he scored the game's opening touchdown via an 18-yard run.  William Pearl and Marquius Young each added short TD runs.  Pearl, Preston Jennings and Adrian Jordan each caught a team-best six passes.  Defensively, Daniel Preston (14 tackles) and Rakeem Rutherford (10 tackles) led the unit.  --- Box Score

He also ran for a score. Teammates Ben King (129 yards) and Justin Parker (104 yards) both made nine catches for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Chris Jessup's 11 tackles led the Quakers' defense.  Justin Williams-Blackwell returned a blocked point-after kick for a rare defensive extra point. --- Box Score
