Week six started with three undefeated teams in the ODAC ranks, but when the final horn blew on the weekend's action, just one remains standing.  Emory & Henry College sits atop the conference standings after moving to 5-0.  Hampden-Sydney College also won, keeping pace with the Wasps as both now sit 2-0 in league.  Randolph-Macon College and Shenandoah University both defended their home turfs to move above .500 on the season.

Randolph-Macon and Catholic University got things started on Friday evening in Ashland with the Yellow Jackets coming away with a 42-21 win over the Cardinals.  Three afternoon contests on Saturday capped off the league slate for the week.  E&H took down Bridgewater College, 34-21, in a matchup of previously unbeaten squads.  Hampden-Sydney travelled to Lexington and defeated Washington and Lee University, 55-32, keeping the Generals without a win this season.  Shenandoah got three non-offensive touchdowns en route to beating previously undefeated Guilford College, 47-31.

Hampden-Sydney quarterback Nash Nance (pictured) and Emory & Henry defensive back Tre'von Lightfoot earned the ODAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards.  Nance was responsible for six touchdowns in the Tigers win.  He threw for 359 yards and three scores, ran for two more, and then in a reversal of roles, caught a 31-yard TD pass from receiver Holton Walker. Lightfoot accounted for half of the Wasps turnovers in their win over Bridgewater.  In addition to making six solo tackles, he intercepted a pair of passes in the second half to help quell BC's comeback attempts.

Next week, Emory & Henry and Hampden-Sydney put their undefeated league records on the line as the Wasps head to H-SC.  Bridgewater and Guilford will look to get back on track as they square off in Greensboro.  Catholic welcomes Shenandoah to the nation's capital for the 11th all-time meeting between the two foes.  And Washington and Lee looks to notch its first win of the season when Randolph-Macon comes to town.  All games start at 1:00 p.m. ET.
