ODAC FBALL Play of the Week - Week 02: BridgewaterEarly in the first quarter of Bridgewater's 25-23 upset of then 18th-ranked Thomas More, punter Plato Eliades helped the Eagles put their first points on the board. Eliades executed a perfect fake-punt rush to pick up first down yardage. A few plays later, BC would punch it in for a touchdown and convert for two points to go ahead, 8-0.
ODAC FBALL Play of the Week - Week 02: Emory & HenryLate in the contest, first-year running back Mike Gamble put the nail in the coffin in E&H's 48-13 win at Brevard. Gamble took an inside hand-off and weaved his way past a few tacklers on the way to a 41-yard burst and his first collegiate touchdown with 3:30 to play. (only video angle available)
ODAC FBALL Play of the Week - Week 02: GuilfordGuilford running back De'Eric Bell put together a record-setting day in the Quakers' 56-17 win at Methodist. He picked up 97 of his ODAC and GC record 428 all-purpose yards on this kick return for a score midway thru the fourth quarter. Bell finished with three total touchdowns with this as his third kickoff and fifth kick return touchdown of any kind in his career.
ODAC FBALL Play of the Week - Week 02: Randolph-MaconEarly in the second quarter and trailing 7-0, the R-MC offense executed a perfect misdirection screen pass. Joe McBride eluded the rush to one side and threw back to Tre Frederick on the other. He followed a few blockers 12 yards untouched to the end zone to knot the score 7-all with 10:33 to go in the first half of R-MC's 17-13 victory at Averett.
ODAC FBALL Play of the Week - Week 02: Washington and LeeLate in the first quarter of W&L's 63-30 win over Sewanee, first-year back Josh Breece showed off his speed with this 58-yard burst thru the line. Three plays later, Breece finished it off with the first of his three scores on the day. The Generals would end up running for 554 yards and nine touchdowns, the latter tying for the ODAC single-game record.
