FOREST, Va. --- Hurricane Florence forced ODAC schedules to shift throughout all sponsored sports, leaving football with just three games played. Guilford, Randolph-Macon, and Shenandoah played their games, while others saw theirs canceled or pushed backed to dates later in the season.

Randolph-Macon moved up its game against Catholic to Wednesday and greeted the former ODAC associate member rudely with a 41-6 triumph. Guilford also moved up its contest at Davidson a couple days. The numbers put up this matchup were eye-opening as the two squads combined for 152 points and 1,662 yards in the Wildcats 91-61 win. Shenandoah played at its schedule time on Saturday against Hobart. The Hornets came up a possession short in a 56-48 setback to the Statesmen.

Washington and Lee and Bridgewater will both play their scheduled week three games in week four with the Generals welcoming Maryville College to Lexington on Thursday and the Eagles playing host to N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday. Both W&L and BC were slated to be on their scheduled byes.

The remaining contests effected by Hurricane Florence will not be made up.

ODAC FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Shenandoah quarterback Hayden Bauserman, a senior from Woodstock, Va., set records for the second straight week in the Hornets back-and-forth 56-48 setback to Hobart College. Bauserman matched his own school-record with six touchdown passes for the second straight week, giving him 15 scoring throws thru the first three weeks of the season. Against the Statesmen, Bauserman set a new Shenandoah record by completing 46 passes of his 64 attempts. That ties for third all-time in the ODAC and is the first time an ODAC quarterback has completed that many passes since Catholic University's Greg Cordivari in 2011. Bauserman finished with 471 yards thru the air, the first time he's thrown for at least 400 yards this season and sixth time in his nearly four-year career as SU's signal-caller. He completed passes to 10 different receivers and spread his touchdown passes to four different players including favored target Jake Wallace, who hauled in 14 passes for 195 yards and three scores. Bauserman currently leads the ODAC in passing yards (1,097), touchdowns (15), completions (105), and attempts (156) and is second in completion percentage (67.3) and passer efficiency (156.8).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Randolph-Macon defensive end Aaron Cox, a sophomore from Grifton, N.C., put together a strong day in helping to lead the Yellow Jackets defense in their 41-6 triumph over former ODAC associate member Catholic University. R-MC limited Catholic to just 230 yards of total offense and 4.0 yards per play. The Cardinals finished 2-of-13 (15%) on third downs, with R-MC holding them to less than three yards per rush. R-MC finished with 10 tackles for loss -- including six sacks -- that cost CUA 49 yards of offense. Cox registered three stops on the day including the first two sacks of his collegiate career that wiped out 17 yards of CUA offense and stopped a possession. His first sack set back CUA seven yards in the first quarter with R-MC leading 14-6, while his second quarterback sack ended a CUA second-quarter drive with a 10-yard setback. That drive stop was one of six times Randolph-Macon forced Catholic into three-and-out drives. The Yellow Jackets capitalized on those stops with 17 points on their ensuing possessions.
