Tate, a junior from Staunton, Virginia, sprinted for his fourth 100-plus yard game of the season and his third in a row in a 40-9 Bridgewater victory over the Guilford Quakers on Homecoming day at BC. Tate collected 157 yards on the ground on 15 carries with three touchdown runs. He staked Bridgewater to an early 12-0 lead with scoring runs of 15 and 77 yards in the first quarter. He came back with an eight-yard touchdown scamper in the second quarter to give the Eagles 33-9 lead going into the half. Tate is now second in the conference in overall rushing with 670 yards, just three yards short current leader, Caleb Jennings from Emory & Henry.
