Nelson, a junior from Hudson, North Carolina, set the school
record and tied the ODAC standard with four interceptions in
Guilford's 42-21 win at Catholic. All four picks came in Guilford
territory, including one in the end zone and three inside the
Quakers' 12-yard line. He intercepted three of the Cardinals' four
quarterbacks used in the game. Guilford scored a touchdown after
his first third-quarter pick. Three of the interceptions came in
the second half. Nelson has tied the school record with eight
interceptions in a season, two short of the ODAC single-season
