
Howard, a junior from Afton, Va., turned in an outstanding
performance in Saturday's 35-24 victory over Ferrum. Howard
recorded two sacks, to go along three tackles for a loss in the
win. His efforts behind the line cost Ferrum 24 yards in total
offense. Howard’s two sacks set the Panthers back 20
yards. He finished the day with four total stops.
Howard's defensive prowess aided the Eagles in holding
Ferrum's triple option rushing attack to just 66 yards on the day,
marking the first time in nearly eight years that the Panthers were
held to under 100 yards on the ground.
